| Bogalusa Paper Queen Ball, 4th of July Celebration and the Independence Day
Parade
These events are held to celebrate not only the birthday of our nation, but also the
birthday of the City of Bogalusa. The ball is held the evening before the early morning
parade - all in Bogalusa. The Paper Queen Ball is usually
held on the evening of July 3rd and the Independence Day Parade is held on the morning of
July 4th.

| Lyons Memorial Scramble Usually occurs in July The 8th Annual Kathy Arlt Lyons Memorial Golf Tournament is ready to get swinging. Format for the event is a two-member team scramble, and the tournament will take place tomorrow at the Bogalusa Country Club beginning at noon. All proceeds from the event will go to benefit the Camp Fire USA Towazi Council. Registration per person is $75, which includes green fees, cart fee, on-course beverages, lunch and eligibility to try for a $10,000 hole-in-one.
