Police Officers
risk their lives daily to protect and serve the public because they have
chosen a profession that they believe is not only needed, but also beneficial
to all.
There is never a
day that goes by that Police Officers don't find some rewards in that they
were able to help someone. The thought of dying in the line of duty does not
live within them. They wear the badge proudly and know that death in the line
of duty is simply a risk of the job.
When a Police Officer is
struck down, let us remember that they were protecting us all. Please take the
time to remember our fallen brothers and sisters who died giving us a better
world in which to live.
When Police
Officers request a pay increase in order to better support their families
please remember to give them your full support.
Oh
Almighty God,
Whose Great Power And Eternal
Wisdom Embraces The Universe,
Watch Over All Policemen and
Law Enforcement Officers.
Protect Them From Harm
In The Performance Of Their Duty
To Stop Crime, Robberies,
Riots And Violence.
We Pray, Help Them Keep
Our Streets And Homes Safe
Day And Night.
We Recommend Them To
Your Loving Care
Because Their Duty Is Dangerous.
Grant Them Your Unending Strength And
Courage In Their Daily Assignments.
Dear God, Protect These
Brave Men & Women,
Grant Them Your Almighty
Protection,
Unite Them Safely With Their
Families After Duty Has Ended.
Amen.
If a
statue in the park of a person on a horse has both front legs in the
air, the person died in battle. If the horse has one front leg in the air
the person died as a result of wounds received in battle. If the horse has
all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural causes
